Automate benefit enrollment, contributions, and deductions with HRIS and payroll integrations.
When systems fail to connect, errors multiply, support demands increase, and compliance risk escalates. Rigid integration requirements, mismatched data formats, and manual processes create fragile workflows that are difficult to scale and maintain.

Insights and inspiration to help you build better benefits.
View more resourcesYes, Benepass has a number of API integration partners and supports many EDI file integrations. We integrate with HRIS and payroll providers, including Workday, ADP, Paylocity, and UKG, and can integrate most providers that expose an API or accept SFTP. Common feed types include API, which is preferred for real-time sync, SFTP for secure file transfer, and RaaS, which is specific to Workday. Examples of integrations include ADP via SFTP, Paylocity via API and SFTP, UKG via API, and Workday via RaaS.
Based on our dataset, Workday (33%) and ADP (21%) make up the majority of HRIS and benefits administration providers used with Benepass. UKG (11%) is another leading platform. The remaining share (~37%) is a long list of 23+ additional platforms.
Benepass is built to reduce the operational risk and complexity of onboarding a new benefits vendor. Every customer is paired with a dedicated Technical Account resource, separate from the Implementation Manager, to provide ongoing support for integrations and file accuracy. This technical partner works directly with HRIS providers, proactively monitors data quality, resolves issues quickly, and keeps employers informed before problems impact employees. That means a smoother launch, fewer errors, and a more confident transition.
Benepass proactively identifies and flags errors during processing. Invalid data is not uploaded into the system, helping prevent downstream issues for your team or employees. This is different from other vendors who provide delayed, generic error notifications—often in confusing formats that make it hard to tell what’s actually wrong.
Your implementation team will:
- Map your HRIS/payroll data model and eligibility rules.
- Design a tailored integration (API/SFTP/RaaS) to match your structure.
- Configure the Benepass platform to validate incoming data and surface issues.
- Run test cycles and reconcile contributions/deductions before go-live.
